Adrian Dallas "Tommy" Thompson

Tommy was born October 30, 1918 in Alvord, Iowa. He passed away November 15, 2014 in Stillwater. He is survived by his daughter Teri Selden; son Greg Thompson; grandchildren Charlie Selden, Amanda (Chris) Rick, Tyrus Thompson, Peter Thompson; great grandson Calvin Rick; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verle; parents Dallas and Elizabeth Thompson; and sisters LaVohne, Grace, Corrynn Thompson, and Myva Anderson. In his earlier years Tommy was a professional baseball player with the St. Loius Cardinals organization and later was a teacher with ISD #834 in Stillwater from 1964 – 1981. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St, Stillwater. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave N, Stillwater, and also for one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Bayport.
