Althea J. Ryden

Althea J. Ryden, 91, of Minneapolis, Minnesota was born April 7, 1920 in Stillwater, MN to Adolph T. and Sandra (nee Nelson) Ryden and passed away March 5, 2012 at Mt. Olivet Careview Home in Minneapolis, MN. Althea was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Elizabeth Carlberg, Harriet Engler; brother A.T."Buzz" Ryden, Jr.; niece Marion Carlberg; and nephew Alan T. Ryden. She is survived by nieces Anne (Mark) Wiberg, Jean (Alan) Blat, Sandra (Doug) Wilson; nephews Tim (Dorothy) Kilty, John (Carrie) Carlberg; and sister-in-law Maggie Ryden Parker. Althea is survived by 2nd and 3rd generation of nieces and nephews. Her cousins, extended family and friends mourn her passing. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1942 and worked for Wausau Insurance Company for 42 years. A member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, her memorial service will be held 11am Thursday March 29, 2012 with visitation beginning at 10 am all at the church. Memorials may be given to the Adult Education Fund at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater, MN.
