Bette McDonald

Bette McDonald, a longtime resident of Bayport and Stillwater, died peacefully at the age of 92 in the presence of her daughter on March 3, 2025. Bette lived a full life, and in retirement enjoyed traveling throughout the world with her husband John. When not traveling, they enjoyed the comfort and warmth of Ft. Myers, FL during the winter. Her hobbies included gardening, golf, playing bridge and other card games, and cleaning.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, John on December 11, 2024; sons John Anthony, and baby Kevin. Bette is survived by her loving daughter Michelle; and daughter-in-law June. Other surviving family members include a son Michael; granddaughter Kali and her husband Nate; and two great-grandsons Ian and Everette.

Mass of Christian Burial for both Bette and John will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Church of St. Charles, 409 3rd St N, Bayport, MN. Private interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport.
