Betty K. Proesch

Mrs. Betty Proesch died Sunday morning, April 20, 2008, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Stillwater. She was born August 13, 1924 in Stillwater, the daughter of Vincent and Pearl (McClay) Rice. She graduated in 1942 from Stillwater High School, and then worked as a secretary at the Crane Company and at 3M in St. Paul, until her marriage in 1950 to Mr. John Proesch. After raising her family she returned to work at the Stillwater School District where she was employed for many years. Her husband died in 1988. Mrs. Proesch was proud to be a fifth generation citizen of Stillwater, and a lifelong member of St. Michaelâ
