Bonita "Bonnie" R. Eichten

Eichten, Bonita R. (Haynes), age 86, lifetime Stillwater/Oak Park Heights Resident. Passed away peacefully January 6, 2010. Survived by five children Nancy (Dan) Beedle, Joe (Tanya), Bill, Patsy (Joe) Kiesow, Kathy (Steve) Berger; eight grandsons, Jason and Nathan (Jennon) Beedle, Zac (Sara) Eichten, Matt and Sam Kiesow, Erik, Adam and Brian Berger; five great-grandchildren Charlotte and Victoria Eichten, Minnie and Eich Beedle, and Adan Berger; sister-in-law Mary Catherine Eichten-Gersting. Bonnie was preceded in death in 2004 by husband of 57 years Robert J. Eichten; parents Harriett and Walter Haynes; sister Elizabeth Radke; in-laws Mary and Val Eichten, Florence and Tom Eichten, Paul Radke, and Milan Gersting. Bonnie graduated from Stillwater High School, class of 1941. Some of her first jobs were with Madden Oil Company, Stillwater Post Messenger, War Price and Ration Board during World War II, Connolly Shoe Company, and White Pine Inn. In 1990 she retired from Stillwater School District 834 after 23 years at Oak Park Elementary School. Bonnie was a member of the Lakeview Hospital Bridge Marathon and an honorary and active member of the Stillwater Country Club. There will be no memorial service. Private interment will take place in the spring at Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater. Memorials preferred to St. Maryâ
