Cecilia Gertrude (Berschens) Burtzlaff

Cecilia (Berschens) Burtzlaff, age 103, of Stillwater, passed away on Saturday, July, 8, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Society in Stillwater. Cecilia attended St. Mary's School and graduated from the Stillwater High School in 1947.She worked for 29 year in sales at Old Home Foods. She was a Past President of the St. Anne's Society, and a member of the St. Mary's CCW, Knights of the Immaculata, Marianhill League, and the Fr. Solanus Casey Guild. Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; daughters, Mary Lambert and Margaret Swanson; brothers, Alois, William, and Leonard; and sister, Caroline Eberhard. She is survived by her son, William (Sandy) Burtzlaff; and many grand-children and great-grand-children. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 423 S. Fifth St., Stillwater, MN 55082 with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Bayport.
