Cecilia Demarais

Beloved wife of Virgil, mother of Margot "Peg", Paula (Jeff), Tom (Janie), Alice and Joan (Paul), grandmother of Deidre, Aimee, Joey, Aidan, Kara, Anton "Tony", Jim, Benjamin, Tom, Erik, Emily and Michael, passed away surrounded by her family.Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents Anton and Agnes Macho, older brother Vern, and twin brother Mark. Ceil was born in Leahy, Washington on September 1, 1920. She was a 1940 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dental Hygiene. She and Virg were married in Los Angeles, CA in 1943 and have made their home in Lakeland, MN since 1948. Ceil enjoyed a long life that was lovingly devoted to her family and many dear friends. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, a tireless community volunteer, a patron of the arts, and could regularly be found at a lively bridge game.
