Constance DeLee (Barkie) Lynch, age 76, of Stillwater, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Connie was born October 30th,1945 to Wilbur and Sylvia (Abraham) Barkie. She grew up in Williston, North Dakota with her parents and four siblings. Connie graduated from Williston Senior High School in 1963.

After high school, Connie moved to Phoenix, Arizona. While visiting family in the Oakdale, Minnesota area, Connie met Robert Lynch Jr. and a courtship soon began. Connie eventually moved back and she and Robert were joined in marriage on July 6th, 1974. In 1975, they built their first and only residence on Sunrise Ave in Stillwater, Minnesota, where they raised their family. In 1976, Connie and Robert were blessed to welcome their first-born son, Michael. Then in 1981, they were blessed again with the birth of their second son, Cory. To Connie, "her boys" were her absolute everything.

Connie held several jobs in her lifetime, but most of them involved banking in some capacity. This is how she met some of her closest friends.

Connie's loves in life were reading, watching TV, going to the casino with friends, crossword puzzles, the QVC channel, but most of all, enjoying the company of her friends and family. Often when gathered with those she loved most (especially her grandchildren), phrases like "Ya deanie", "Yish-ah-meh-hedni", "Darlin' hearts" and "Yish-hadi" would be heard as phrases of Lebanese endearment. Connie embraced life to the fullest.

Connie is survived by her two sons, Michael Lynch of Albany, NY, and Cory (Desiree) Lynch of New Richmond, WI. Grandchildren: Sarah, Ryan, Brooklynn, and Brenden. Brother Larry (Barbara) Barkie of Fort Worth, TX; sister Marvy Jo Dittmer of Mesa, AZ. Extended close family from the Barkie and Lynch families. As well as nieces, nephews and so many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Lynch Jr, parents, Wilbur and Sylvia Barkie, sister Darlene Beedy; brother Dennis Barkie; and granddaughter Cameron Lynch.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Church of St. Michael in Stillwater. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
