Curtis D Swanson

Curtis Swanson, born June 25, 1925, much beloved husband, dad, and grandpa died suddenly on June 21, 2013, just a few days before his 88th birthday. Survived by Margaret (Stohl), his high school sweetheart and wife of 66 years; four children: Bruce, Craig, Vicki (Mark) Kirkman, Debra (Dave) Dziuk; 9 grandchildren: Andrea, Michele, Curtis, Melissa, Mathew, Ashley, Erica, Patrick and Emily; 5.5 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert; sister, Virginia; sister- and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Curtis was a successful businessman having owned Ramsen, Inc., and in his heart he was always a farmer. He was a kind, generous, and compassionate family man. He is fiercely loved and dearly missed. A celebration of Curtis's life will be held Thursday, June 27 at 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stillwater. Private internment on Friday. Memorials preferred to St. Croix Falls Public Library, St. Croix Falls, WI 54024.
