Cyril Dennis Mcfadden

Cyril Dennis McFadden Age 87 of Stillwater Passed away at home Nov. 18, 2016 Cyril is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Violet; daughters, Patricia and Sharon (James Sarne); grandsons, Brian Stiepan, Alex and Quinn Medved; and siblings, Vincent (Miriam), Rita Becker, Francis, and Mary (Vern) Yelle. He was preceded in death by parents, Dennis and Cecelia; and siblings, Mildred Zachman, Joseph, Terrence, Theresa Kannon, and Margaret. Cyril was a Merchant Marine and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War conflict. He was actively involved in the Church of St. Michael and was an avid volunteer in their building and remodeling projects. He was an avid gardener and consummate handyman, who loved working on projects around the home for family and friends, tinkering on his tractors, and developing new projects to landscape, build or work on. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater, MN with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass in the church atrium. Interment will be at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, November 25 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, meet at Assembly Area #2. Memorials preferred to the National PKU Alliance or the Church of St. Michael.
