David C. Smith

David C. Smith, age 91 of Stillwater passed away on March 23, 2014 at the Stillwater Good Samaritan Center. David was born on September 15, 1922, the son of Walter and Hazel Smith in Stillater, where he grew up and graduated from high school. David was preceded in death by his sister Joan and his wife of 64 years Erma. He is survived by his sister Sally Reberk ; two sons Scott (Christiane) and Craig (Ruth); five grandchildren Katharina, Christopher, Jennifer (Chris) Tellers, Jeffrey (Lisa), Jillian (Adam) Hazebroek; four great-grandchildren Mya, Ben and Brady Tellers, and Caleb Hazebroek. David was a WWII Navy Veteran who served as quartermaster on a troop transport vessel. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday March 31, 2014 at Simonet Funeral Home 6429 Osgood Ave N, Stillwater. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater.
