Donald R. Heaney, age 87, of Stillwater, formerly of Elk River, Sandstone and South St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Helen, son Dr. Richard DDS and granddaughter Kaylyn Stoutenburg; brother Bernard and Thomas. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years Bernice; children Diane (Dale) Daniel and their children Caitlin & Evan; Steven (Lynn) and their children Shannon & Ryan; Kathleen Heaney (Edward Stoutenburg) and their children Robert, Meaghan and Mary; and also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. WWII Navy Veteran who participated in the invasion of Southern France, Anzio and Tunisia. Long-time Industrial Arts teacher at Bryant and Anthony Jr. High Schools, Minneapols, MN. Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday March 10, 2011 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Avenue North, Stillwater. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment St. Columbkill Cemetery, Goodhue MN.
