Doris V. Kellogg

Doris Viola Kellogg, age 94 of Stillwater, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Golden Living Center Greeley in Stillwater. Doris was born November 24, 1919, in Stillwater, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Rose (Bossetti) Garavalia. She grew up and attended school in Stillwater. She was united in marriage to Wallace Kellogg on June 28, 1941 in Stillwater. The couple made their home in Stillwater and raised 13 children together. Doris truly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren throughout her life. She was beloved by all her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Doris is survived by 11 children: Mary (Lloyd) Richardson; David (Arlene); Terry ; Robert Carlson; Ann (Trenton) Wood; Sally (Rick) Claugherty; Nancy (Bob Shaner); Steve; John; Jeff (Debbie); Frank; 30 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Kellogg; daughter Linda Mani; son Patrick; grandson Joe; parents and siblings. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2014 at Simonet Funeral Home in Stillwater. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery in Bayport.
