Dorothy Jean Pominville

Dorothy Jean Pominville Age 83 of Stillwater Passed away peacefully on August 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Elma Higgins; son, James; and daughter, Mary. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John (Pooch) Pominville; children, Nancy (Marc) Porembo, Mark (Renae), and Michael; grandchildren, Megan, Abbigail, Tim Pominville and Dylan (Kristin) Lentz; great-grandson, Joseph Lentz; brother, Robert Higgins; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy made a career as a Registered nurse. After retirement, Dorothy and John spent 20 winters in Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater, MN 55082. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave N., Stillwater, MN 55082 as well one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Private family interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Croix Catholic School or St. Michael’s Food Shelf.
