Passed away peacefully April 7, 2021

Preceded in death by loving wife of 64 years, Marlene; parents; children, David, Colleen Beer, and Kathleen Ries; and granddaughter, Ashley Ries.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, and Cory Beer, Alycia, Andrea, and Amanda Ries; great-grandchildren, Mason and Amelia; and sons-in-law, Don Beer and Greg Ries.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Church of Saint Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater, MN 55082. Guests may arrive to the church at 10:45 a.m. to be seated for the Mass. Livestream will also be available at the Church of Saint Michael - Stillwater, MN Facebook page. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
