Eleanor Magdelene (Over) Schroedl

Eleanor M. Schroedl, age 90, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023. She was an avid gardener and active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stillwater. Eleanor loved spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her two husbands, John Schroedl, and Joseph Nasvik; two sons, Christopher and Thomas Schroedl; step son, Peter Nasvik; step daughter, Heidi White; and her parents, Arnold and Gladys Over.

Eleanor will remain in the hearts of her children, Paul (Cindy) Schroedl, Joseph (Denise) Schroedl, Daniel Schroedl, Mary (Bob) Dean, Anne (Tim) Tinberg, and Jane (Dean) Nichols; seven step children; many grand and great-grandchildren; brother Arn (Ginny) Over; sister Joan Lockedell; dear cousin Margaret Stevenson; and other relatives and many dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S 3rd St., Stillwater with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. Reception to follow at St. Mary's Church, 423 5th St., Stillwater. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials to St. Mary's Catholic Church of Stillwater and Como Zoo Conservatory in St. Paul.
