Gerald Fredrick Wright

Gerald F. Wright, CW5(Bvt) age 93, of Bayport, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2018 surrounded by his family at Croixdale Senior Living. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois; parents; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. Jerry is survived by his daughters, Janis, Lori (Tim) Gardner, Sandy, and Cheryl (Mike) Townsend; grandchildren, Steven, Valerie, Michaela (Brandon) Kliber, Carley, and Joe; sister, Lela Gould; and many other loving relatives and friends. Celebration of Life will be from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave. N., Stillwater, MN 55082 with a short service to begin at 6:30 p.m. A special thank you to the staff and residents of Croixdale and to Lakeview Hospice. Memorials are preferred to Disabled American Veterans of Minnesota or Lakeview Hospice.
