Glenice Mcgarry

Glenice A. (Jordahl) McGarry, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, died on Saturday, May 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bob, and her parents Olaf and Pearl (Boyd) Jordahl. Glenice was born in Adrian, MN on August 6, 1933 and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1951. She attended college before marrying her high school sweetheart, Bob McGarry, on August 1, 1953. They spent their lives together in Stillwater. Glenice loved to play bridge with her friends, ice skate, paint, read and anything her grandchildren were involved with. She is survived by her daughters Shannon (Kevin) Seggelke, Marci (William) Twiss and Monica (Bob) Jones and son Robert III (Jenny) McGarry; sister Shirley Nelson; grandchildren Josh (Lindsay) Seggelke, Robert (Katie) Seggelke, J.J. (Melissa) Seggelke, Robert IV (Elin) McGarry, Collin and Kelly McGarry; great grandson Patrick Joshua Segglke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and her sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Bob Gelhar. Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 N. 4th St., Stillwater. Memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church.
