Gregory Patten

Gregory D. Patten, age 75 of New Richmond, was taken home to glory by the grace of his savior Jesus Christ on December 23, 2023. Greg was born on November 22, 1948, the youngest of Howard and Mildred Patten's three children.

Anyone that knew Greg knows that he lived to help people. He was a master when working with his hands, and was at his best when swinging a hammer, turning a wrench, and building and fixing just about anything. There was the wrong way, right way, and then Greg's way to get something done. Greg's way was to truly last a lifetime. He used his mechanical ability to serve others and with a heart to bring people closer to God. When Greg did slow down, he loved to camp and travel the country with his family and friends, and was known to play a mean game of chess.

At his passing Greg was surrounded by his wife of 22 years Vicki, his children, and grandchildren. Greg will be missed by so many.

He was preceded to heaven by his first wife Diane (Hathaway); his parents Howard and Mildred Patten; and his sisters Sally Olsen and Nancy Soderberg.

A funeral service for Greg will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Oakridge Community Church, 610 County Rd 5, Stillwater, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Boardman Cemetery in Boardman, WI.
