Helen Marie Mcknight

Helen M. McKnight Age 88 of Stillwater Passed away August 29, 2016 Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Jennie Kryzer; husband, William; sister, Cecelia Karas; and son-in-law, Daniel O’Connell. Helen is survived by her children, Marilyn (Paul) Omelianchuk, Sandy (Dave) Lennander, Terry (Scotty) McKnight, Jennie (Brian) Johnson, and Molly (Eric) Barth; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lucille Kryzer. She retired after 40 years as a nurse at Lakeview Hospital. She was best known as the nursery nurse. She loved all of the babies she took care of. She was a devout member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church where she volunteered in the Adoration Chapel and funeral lunches. She was extremely proud of her children. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her so much joy and happiness. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater, MN with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass in the church atrium. Private family interment. Memorials are preferred to the Church of St. Michael.
