H. Mark DeWolf 9/12/1919 – 03/11/2018 Age 98 of Stillwater H. Mark DeWolf passed away peacefully on March 11, 2018. He was born Henry Mark DeWolf in Stillwater, Minnesota on September 12, 1919 to Laird and Mary Lyle DeWolf. Mark served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Following his military service, Mark was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and served as an agent for 30 years throughout the United States. Mark graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1950. Mark also served as a Boy Scout leader in Stillwater, and was recognized by the Indianhead Scout Council for his contribution to scouting. He was also a member of the Stillwater Country Club, and his hobbies included woodworking and family genealogy research. In 1994, Mark married Mildred Shay, and together they spent many happy years living in Sun City, Arizona, and also traveling extensively around the United States and in foreign countries. Mark was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Millie; and his parents, Laird and Mary Lyle DeWolf. He is survived by step daughter, Susan Shay Brugger (Ron); step grandson, Terry Brugger; and two step great-granddaughters, Cecelia Shay Brugger and Roxanne Shay Brugger. Also survived by cousins, Marjorie Hooley, Thomas Hooley, Charles (Nancy) Hooley, and Mary (Willis) Wright. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 409 N. 3rd St., Bayport, MN 55003 with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor’s choice.
