Hollenhorst, Janet M. Of Arden Hills Feb. 14, 1932 – June 14, 2014 Janet is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Hollenhorst, Anne (Kevin) Bisgaard, and Elizabeth (Joseph) Heredia; grandsons John and Daniel Bisgaard; sister Lynn Masica (John McCasland); cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and her parents Stephen and Carolyn (Maehren) Masica. Janet adored her grandsons, was devoted to her bridge club friends and her community projects. She was known for her sense of style, 5 o’clock martinis, and travels with her husband, from which they always came home a week early. The family would like to thank the staff on 4th floor North of the Gables at Johanna Shores, Golden Living Greeley Care Center-Stillwater, Lakeview Hospital, and at Stillwater Medical Group. Memorials are preferred to the MS Society, Prostate Cancer research in honor of John, or the Stillwater Area High School Music and Theater Program. A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 with visitation starting at 1 p.m. all at Johanna Shores-Club Lounge, 3200 Lake Johanna Blvd., Arden Hills, MN 55112.
