Jarold J Dulon

Jarold Dulon 83, of Stillwater passed away Thursday July 25, 2013, at Boutwells Landing. Jarold was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Anna (Mercier) Dulon; infant son, Michael; and infant grandson, Matthew Dums: sister, Irene Flandrick; brother, Alfred; and twin brother, Harold. Jarold is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Blackwell), with whom he shared 63 years of marriage; his children Ann (Larry) Havel, Bruce (Cindy) Dulon, Diane (Laurence) Betterley, and Audrey (Michael) Dums; his grandchildren Michael and Katie Josephson, Ryan and Mark Dulon, Christina (Bryan) Norlien and Ben Betterley, Jacob and Jessica Dums, Jessica (Nick) Skudlarek and Jacci (Kyle) Waltz, great grandchild, Vienna; Jarold’s sister Bernadette Poliachik and sister-in-law Mary Jean Dulon. Jarold farmed in Star Prairie Township, served in the military and retired from Andersen Corporation. His favorite pastimes included singing and playing the guitar, dancing, hunting and cheering on the Packers. Jarold will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather who put his family first. His loving family will forever feel blessed by his quiet strength and guidance over the years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, located at 611 S. Third St. in Stillwater. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church atrium. Simonet Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and interment will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Bayport.
