Preceded in death by husbands Richard A. Johnson and Howard C. Symmes; brother George Arndt. Survived by children Jessica Symmes Benson (Dennis), Betsy A. Symmes, and Ernie F. Symmes (Kathy Crooks); grandchildren Summer Freer, Rebecca Intzempelis, Amanda Symmes; great grandchildren Dylon, Kiley, Joey, and Stavros; brother Hubert House (Donna); many nieces and nephews. Jean enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and martinis. Memorial Service 5:00 PM Thursday September 16, 2010 at SIMONET FUNERAL HOME, 6429 Osgood Avenue North, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
