John H. Foster

Retired longtime sales manager with Cummins Diesel St. Paul. Born in Alexis, IL on February 28, 1919. As a youth he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. John was active in the regional trucking industry for over 50 years and received the Outstanding Service Award from MN ATA. Preceded in death by parents and five sisters. Survived by loving wife of 69 years Alice; children Thomas J. (Joan), Therese Blumer, Timothy J. (Kim), Ted J.; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7pm Wednesday May 20, 2009 at CROIXDALE, 750 North Highway 95, Bayport. Private graveside service. Memorials are preferred to Boy Scouts of America.
