Margaret Josephine Taylor was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 17, 2007. She died at Haven Homes Nursing Home in Maple Plain, MN where she had been a patient since April 9. Born in Malone, NY on June 13, 1917 to Ovila and Ida Mae Spinner Lamica. Margaret was raised and attended school in Malone. On July 24, 1937, she was united in marriage to Eugene B. Taylor who proceeded her in death on March 2, 1979. She resided in Malone until shortly after his death when she moved to Minnesota to be with 4 of her children and their families. Margaret spent her life caring for others with her love and kindness. She never lost her great sense of humor and love of life. She loved quilting, knitting and crocheting and used those talents to give to family and friends. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society for most of her life and belonged to the St. Charles parish in Bayport, MN at the time of her death. She will be deeply missed by her children, family and friends. She is survived by 4 children, Carolyn Hirsch, Robert Taylor, Linda (Marvin) Bimberg all of Minnesota and Michael (Heidi) Taylor of Maryland; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers in New York, Robert of Weedsport, Earl of Saratoga Springs, Carl of Syracuse, Stanley of Malone and David of Illion; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also was preceeded in death by her grandparents, parents, her son, Charles Seymour, 3 brothers, Emery, Lester and Bernard. Calling hours in the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, Malone, New York, will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning, April 26 at 10 a.m. at St. John Bosco Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
