Marilyn Jane Roan

Marilyn Jane Roan, age 88, Of Stillwater On the day of love, February 14, 2016, Marilyn left us to join her love. Preceded in death by her husband, Bob and sister Betty Rose McNally. Survived by her brother, Bill Ewers of Keokuk, Iowa; sons, Bobby (spouse, Kristin) of Saint Charles, Illinois; Tom of Applewood, Colorado; daughter, Melissa Nayman (spouse, Steve) of Saint Paul; grandchildren, Kelly and Kate’lyn Roan, Elizabeth and Steph Roan, and Lance and Vince Nayman. She loved her family and enjoyed being with her husband. Marilyn was an honored employee of Dayton’s Saint Paul department store working in the bridal room. An accomplished embroiderer Marilyn won several ribbons including including best of show at the Minnesota State Fair. A wonderful mother, who taught her children life’s lessons well. She will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., on Monday, February 22, 2016 with visitation one hour prior to the Mass all at the Church of St. Michael, 611 South Third St., Stillwater, MN 55082.
