Marion Golden

Marion “Brook” Golden (Brookman) Age 91 Of Mission Viejo, California Was surrounded by loved ones as she peacefully passed on March 25, 2016. Brook is survived by her daughter, Nora Reitenour; son-in-law, Rob Reitenour; granddaughter, Colette Reitenour; brother and sister in-law, Kelly & Ruthie Brookman. Proceeded in death by her parents, Ethel & Martin Brookman; brother, Dale Brookman; and husband, Thomas Richard Golden. Brook’s passion was her deep Catholic faith, and the time she spent as a member of the Daughter’s of Charity. Her greatest joy was found in the countless years she volunteered at Maryvale, a Catholic home for orphaned, neglected and abused girls - the orphanage which she could see from the “house on the hill.” Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 8 at the Church of St. Charles, 409 3rd St. N., Bayport, MN with a visitation one hour prior. Lunch will immediately follow the Mass. Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery following the lunch. Family requests memorials be made to Maryvale, 7600 E. Graves Ave., Rosemead, CA, 91770.
