Marion Elaine Mordick Soller Age 94 Marion went peacefully to her heavenly home on January 15, 2015 surrounded by family, staff and friends at her lovely Croixdale apartment. Preceded in death by first husband of 34 years, Edmund Soller, and second husband of 12 years, Herman Dornfeld; parents Alma and William Mordick; son-in-law Darrel Newell; brothers-in-law Bob Dennis and William Mordick Jr.; and Floyd Olson (Swede). Survived by sister Dorothy Dennis; sister-in-law Roberta Mordick; brother Robert (Esther) Mordick; children Linda Newell, Tom (Beth) Soller, Ginny (Dan) Peulen; grandchildren Meghan, Michael, Chris, Katie, Matthew and Melinda; Great grandchildren Hailey, Violet, Adeline, Teagan, Carew, and Otis as well as stepsons Bob(Marsha) Dornfeld, Bill (Chris) Dornfeld and their families. Marion grew up on the family farm in Lake Elmo and was a longtime resident of Bayport and member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was among the first group of women to work at Andersen Corporation during World War II making shell boxes for the military. Marion retired from Stillwater School District #834. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bayport on Tuesday, January 20th at 2:00 PM. Private family burial prior to the service. Memorials preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
