Marion Weiss

Marion, age 86, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 2, 2015 at her home. Marion was born on September 13, 1928 in Stillwater, the daughter of Arthur and Agnes (Johnson) Wagner. She grew up and attended school in Stillwater. She earned her RN degree from the Minneapolis General Hospital School of Nursing and was employed as the Director of Nursing at Maple Manor and later at the Woodbury Healthcare Center. Following retirement Marion remained active volunteering at numerous organizations. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, playing bridge, reading, and spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Vicki Wyss (Ken Yon), Kathy (Brad) Pierce, and John Weiss; grandchildren, Jarin, Matt, Lili, Dylan, Jay, Mark, and Tina; great-grandchildren, Donovan, Dayton, and Briggs; sister, Jo Anne Keech; niece Debbie; nephew, Mark; and the children of Lloyd Johnson. Funeral Services for Marion will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, July 10, 2015 with visitation one hour prior to the service all at Simonet Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater.
