Mary Elizabeth Carlberg

Mary Elizabeth (LaCosse) Carlberg age 80, a lifelong resident of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society in Stillwater surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, Walter; daughters Sue (Jody) Smith, Shannon (Phillip) Nurmi, and Michelle (Dan) Meier; grandchildren Jessica, Jake, Brooke, and Taylar; brother John (Myrt) LaCosse and sister Gert Agular. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose (Schaffner) LaCosse; son Michael; brothers Roy, Harold, Frank, Stan, Victor, Leslie, and Raymond LaCosse; and sister Shirley LaCosse. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Good Samaritan Society and St. Croix Hospice. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave. N., Stillwater, MN 55082. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery in Bayport.
