Mary Jean Stewart

Mary Jean, age 86, lifelong resident of the St. Croix Valley, was born June 12, 1929 and passed away peacefully on August 10, 2015. Mary Jean grew up in Bayport and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1947 and from the University of Minnesota in 1952. Mary Jean is preceded in death by her father and mother; Ray and Mary O’Brien, Cousin Dorothy Kennedy, and grandchild Erin Stewart. Mary is survived by her 7 children; Frank, Jim, Cary (Maureen), Maura (Mike) Severin, Dan (Nancy), Patrick (Chris), and Michael (Laurel). She is also survived by her brother Richard (Jackie) O’Brien of Bayport and sister Suzy (Robert) Johnson of Irvine California. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday August 14, 2015 with visitation for one hour prior to the Mass all at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St. Stillwater.
