Mary Ann Sandeen

Mary Ann Sandeen, age 82 of Stillwater, passed away peacefully January 14, 2025. Retired kindergarten teacher, election judge, and longtime volunteer at the Stillwater Public Library. December 18, 2024 was recently declared to be Mary Ann Sandeen Day in Stillwater to recognize her accomplishments and contributions to the library and the city of Stillwater.

Mary Ann will remain in the hearts of her son David (Emilee); sister Pat Bovee; and nephew Sean Bovee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Judge Searle and Eileen Sandeen; sister Susan Sandeen; and brother-in-law Warren Bovee.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Mary Ann's life will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave N, Stillwater, MN. Private family interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport, MN.

Memorials are preferred to the Stillwater Public Library Foundation at 224 3rd St N, Stillwater, MN 55082.
