Mary "Desta" Modesta O'Brien Forbes

Age 88 of Stillwater. Formerly of Little Canada. Died September 10, 2014. She was born in Stillwater, the daughter of Joseph G. and Loretto (Simonet) O'Brien. Preceded in death by her husband Gordon Forbes; brothers Jim and William O'Brien; sister Maureen Palmer. Survived by daughters Nancy (Stan) and Jo; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother Joseph (Mary) O'Brien; sisters-in-law Marge O'Brien and Vivian Hurley. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM on Tuesday (9/16) at Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. Burial at St. Michael Cemetery in Bayport. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michael's School or charity of your choice.
