Michael Gaetano D'Andrea

Age 89 of Stillwater 11-14-1928 to 11-11-2018 Preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, JoAnne; and parents, Michael and Emma. Survived by his children Mark (Rosemary), Mike (Mary), Pat, and Mary Jo; grandchildren, Michael G., Nicole (Curtis), Anthony (Nicole), and Steven; friend and companion, Teddi; sister, Delores; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael served as Twin Cities and Chicago branch sales manager during his 30+ career with 3M Co. During the Korean War he was stationed in Alaska with the U.S. Naval Air Reserve and was a member of a club of servicemen who flew over the North Pole. He was founder of the Artist League of the Sandhills in North Carolina and was a water color artist and art instructor at the League. He served as the Leagues President and was a board member until he returned to Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Church of Saint Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater, MN 55082 with a visitation to begin one hour prior to the Mass in the church atrium. Private family interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with military honors. Memorials preferred to the Artist League of the Sandhills in Aberdeen, NC.
