Noland R. Heiden

Noland R. Heiden, age 91, of Stillwater. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on November 27. A graduate of Western Michigan University, he served in the Navy in WWII. After the war he earned a PhD from the University of Michigan. He spent his professional life in City Planning and as a Professor of Urban Planning. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Lorraine; children Thomas (Jane), Patricia, Peter, Michael (Gayle), Kathleen (Paul), and Carol; grandchildren Christy, Katy, Meg (Andrew), Sean, Brendan, Matthew (Jocelyn), Melinda, Jennifer, Brian (Nikki), Michael (Jamie), Travis (Angela), Tonya, David, Joe, Sarah, Jason (Gaile); and 14 great-grandchildren.
