Norman H. Guse Lifelong resident of Stillwater WWII veteran-Age 91 Preceded in death by wife of 52 years Betty; brother Bill, and sister Margaret. Survived by children Mary (Steve) Swanson of Eau Claire, WI, Ann (K.K.) Khakzadi of Woodbury, Sue (Scott) Persby of Oakdale; grandchildren Kirsten, Jeffrey, Scott, and Megan Swanson, and Dana Persby; brother Reiny (Ruth) Guse; sister Addie Otte; sister-in-law Viv Guse; faithful companion Alex the cat; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Norm was proud of his family and their various accomplishments. He loved overnight casino trips with his daughter Ann. He was a bird enthusiast and also enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes. Norm was an avid sports fan who followed the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, and Gophers. Funeral Service 11 AM Wednesday May 14, 2008 at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 609 S. 5th St., Stillwater. Visitation 4-7 PM Tuesday May 13, 2008 at SIMONET FUNERAL HOME, 6429 Osgood Ave. N., Stillwater and also 1 hour prior to the service at the CHURCH. Interment St. Michaelâ
