Philip T. Eastwood

Philip T. Eastwood, A lifelong resident of Stillwater Phil Eastwood passed away at age 59 on August 17. Born August 28, 1949, Phil an ardent supporter of Stillwater and active in several civic organizations. He was a commissioner for nine years and past president of the Stillwater Heritage Preservation Commission and served on the Washington County Historical Courthouse Advisory Committee and the Board of Directors of Lumberjack Days Festival. Phil graduated from Stillwater High School in 1967 and attended the University of Minnesota. He was a financial analyst for Northern States Power and sold real estate in the St. Croix Valley for 23 years. Phil was preceded in death by his parents Phil and Carol and aunt Dorothy Berge. He is survived by his daughter Sara Jones; grandsons Nicholas and Aidan, the lights of his life; siblings Jane (Carol), Tom (Clair), Matt (Dee Ann), and Sue (Dennis) Selbitschka; five nieces and nephews; and many cousins. Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday August 22, 2009 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Avenue North, Stillwater. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
