Rene passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 23 May 2012. Surrounded by her son, Elliot (Stephanie), and Larry Lindberg. Rene is survived by her parents, Ray Wersal and Vi (Bernie) Nelson. Also survived by grandchildren Levi and Ella Lindberg; brother Todd (Cindy) Wersal; sister-in-law Lonni Wersal, nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by son Reed; brother Mike Wersal; and niece Reana Wersal. Memorial service will be held 2:15 PM Friday May 25, 2012 at Oakland Cemetery in Marine on the St. Croix.
