Diethert, Richard Ross Diethert, Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Passed away at the age of 87, on January 16, 2022, at The Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale. He was preceded in death by his father Ross Diethert, mother Helen, stepmother Ruth and his brother Thomas Diethert. Richard is survived by his loving wife Jean of 53 years and his sister Patricia Moore. He is also survived by his children Carolyn Loberg, Susan (Greg) Schad, Brenda Loeffler, Marti (Gary) Novak, Daniel (Danette) Diethert; grandchildren Kati (Mason) Loberg, Brandon Schad, Nicole (Claudio) Schad, Jason Schad, Jackie (Quinn) Loeffler, Herbert (Jessica) Loeffler, Timothy (Dakota) Novak, Nicholas (Bailee) Novak; great grandchildren Wren Gonzalez-Schad, Clay Novak; and many nieces and nephews.
Dick served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked his entire career as a draftsman with Honeywell. An avid golfer, Dick was a lifetime member of the Stillwater Country Club.
A Service will be at 11 a.m. on January 28, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 423 S. 5th Street, Stillwater, MN 55082 with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale, St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Michael's Cemetery, or plant a tree in memory of Dick.
