Richard C. Wakefield

Wakefield, Richard C. Vietnam Marine Core Veteran. Age 61 of Stillwater, MN. Rick left this world to begin another great adventure February 9. A place without pain, where the fish jump in the boat, the ducks are within sight, and the deer are not startled. Preceded in death by mother Arline. Survived by his loving wife, Rosemary; sisters, Cathy and Karen (Joel); brothers, Doug (Lynn) and Mike (Jane); sister-in-laws, Ann (Pat) and Julie; father Richard; nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; cherished friend Bobby; and many other dear and good friends. Rick touched countless lives and will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at Simonet Funeral Home (6429 Osgood Avenue North, Stillwater) 1-5 PM, Saturday, February 20. A time to share your favorite story will be at 3 PM (get your anecdote ready). Private interment will be held this summer at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
