Richard S. Kohns

Richard Sylvester Kohns: Age 82 Born 6-20-1930 in Meriden, Iowa. Passed away peacefully at home 1-27-2013. Preceded in death by parents Lawrence & Catherine (Eischen) Kohns, sisters Pauline (Kohns) Johansen and Lenore (Kohns) Clark. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years of marriage, Lois (Eckard) Kohns Children: Kathy Kohns, Mike (Nancy) Kohns, Karen (Bob) Carlson, Karla (Brad) Johnson and Konnie (Shawn) Helwig. Grandchildren: Chelsie, Amy, Chad, Kristy, Abby and Adam. Plus many relatives and friends. Dick served in the US Army and fought in the Korean War. He enjoyed farming and carpentry work in Cherokee, Iowa. The family moved to Stillwater, MN in 1976, where he worked and retired from Anderson Windows.
