Robert James Halverson

Age 82 of Stillwater, MN Passed away January 5, 2016 Robert was preceded in death by two children, Gregory and Angela. He is survived by his life partner and best friend, Mary Goers; children, Steven Halverson, Julie (Jack) Van Remortel, and James Halverson; five brothers; four sisters; ten grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to charity of donator’s choice. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 7th and also one hour prior to the service on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 8th followed by a luncheon to which guests are invited, all at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave. N., Stillwater, MN. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
