Robert George Harper

Robert George Harper, age 83, of Stillwater, passed away on February 20, 2016. Bob will be remembered by his loving wife of 57 years, Elizabeth; children Paul (Bliss), John (Deborah), Jean (Wynn) Curtiss and James (Patricia); grandchildren Molly, Katie, Andrew, Ben, Emily, Laura, Tommy, Grace, Monica and Joe; sisters Janet Just and Geraldine Ubel and other beloved family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents George and Myrtle Harper. Bob retired from 3M Engineering after 40 years and when not attending grandchildren events or helping with the Knights of Columbus, he most often had a fishing rod in hand. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 6133 15th Street North, Oakdale, MN 55128. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave. N., Stillwater, MN 55082. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Transfiguration Catholic School- Oakdale www.transfigurationmn.org.
