Robert Thorbus

Robert Thorbus, age 89, and longtime Stillwater resident passed away peacefully surrounded by family February 20, 2018. Survived by daughter Barb; sons Robert (Heather) and David; grandchildren Adam (Amy), Tor, and Elin; great-grandchildren, Camille, Nevie, and William; and many nieces, nephews and good friends. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joan; mother, Anna; and father, Timothy. Special thanks to the tremendous staff at New Perspective, Highland Park. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service all at Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 N 4th St, Stillwater, MN. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater.
