Robert John "Bob" Brennan

Beloved Father and Grandfather died in Portland, OR at the age of 87. Bob was born in Port Byron, Illinois to Antoinette Bachman and Leo P Brennan. Bob grew up in Iowa and Illinois, graduated from high school in 1938 and served proudly and with honor in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1945. He had a distinguished and enjoyable career with Northwest Airlines where he was a pilot from 1941-1981. Bob cherished many long lasting friendships throughout his career with Northwest. After his retirement from Northwest, he flew DC 3's in Africa for several years. Bob enjoyed traveling, flying and bird and wildlife watching at his farm in Hinckley, MN, which he called 'Heavenly Hinckley'. His daughters, Patricia Franko, Kathleen Anderson and Kelly McRoberts, and sons, Robert and Thomas survive him as well as seven grandchildren, special friend Patricia G Scott and many other dear friends and family members. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Lee Marie and daughter, Jeanne. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Monday, March 30, 2009 at ST. MARYâ
