Roger Paul Mueller

Roger Paul Mueller, age 87 of Stillwater, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024. Roger was born in Stillwater, Minnesota, to Willmer and Marie (Mielke) Mueller. Roger graduated from Stillwater High School before proudly serving in the U.S. Army. Following his enlistment, Roger was united in marriage to Darleen Wieland on November 25, 1961. The couple were blessed with two children. Roger worked as a welder and was employed by several companies including, Standard Conveyor Company in North St. Paul, Linders Specialty Company in St. Paul, Ammerman Company in Stillwater, and General Resource Corp. in Eden Prairie. Roger had a love for music and played lead guitar. Although he played with various bands throughout his life, the majority of the time he played with the Northern Lights at clubs and private parties.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Darleen; children Gregory (Lisa Riehl) Mueller and Kim Levi; grandchildren Sarah Mueller and Paul Mueller; siblings James (Patricia) Mueller, David Mueller, Keith (Bobbie) Mueller, Kathy Mielke, and Lorie (Al) Gosen; and siblings-in-law JoAnn Mueller, Rosella Hendricks, Thomas (Darlene) Wieland, David Wieland, and Donald (Cynthia) Wieland; 19 nieces and 19 nephews.

Preceded in death by his mother Marie (Mielke) Mueller; father Willmer Mueller; step-mother Hazel Mueller; siblings, Ruth Mueller, Karen Peterson, Thomas Mueller, and Arthur Mueller. and siblings-in-law Donna Nelson, Orville Wieland and Arilla Wieland, and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Church of St. Michael, 611 3rd St S, Stillwater, MN with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport. A luncheon will follow at St. Mary's Church, 523 Fifth Street South, Stillwater, Minnesota.
