Sallie C. Grovhoug

Beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma & Great Grandma Passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2012, with her devoted husband, Eugene, by her side. Preceded in death by parents John (Frank) and Gladys Maxwell. Along with her loving husband, Gene, she will be sadly missed by brother Donald (Pug) Maxwell; daughters Kim (Ben) Gabatino; Robyn (Jim) Brown; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jed) Cass; Brenna (Phil) Perrin; Brian (Candice) Nagle; Brandon Nagle; Brady Nagle, great-grandchildren Emma & T.J. Cass; Taylor Perrin; Hannah & Braeden Nagle;. Sallie and Gene moved their family to Stillwater from the Columbia Heights area in 1961. Prior to her retirement, Sallie worked as a geriatric nurse at what was then Linden Nursing Home, and helped the Iverson family open the Greeley Health Care Center, both here in Stillwater. Funeral service 1:00 PM Saturday, Feb. 11 at the First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, 813 W. Myrtle Street. Visitation will be at the church, two hours prior to the service. Private interment at Fairview Cemetery.
