Shirley Montbriand

Shirley Montbriand, age 91 of Stillwater, died June 16, of renal failure complications. Born in 1922 in Star Prairie, raised in New Richmond, WI. Preceded in death by husband Maurice; sons Steven and Michael; daughter-in-law JoAnn and longtime companion John Lawson. Survived by sons Stuart (Sandy), Jeff, Mark (Rita), Nancy, wife of Michael, Ed (Sandy); 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and sisters Betty Quinlan and Romona Vorwerk. Shirley was a 23 year employee as a secretary for the city of Stillwater. Mass of Christian Burial 11a.m., Monday, June 23 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass in the church atrium and a luncheon to follow the burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Paul, or Lakeview Hospice/Home Care.
