Stanley F. Capistrant

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend Left for his heavenly home on December 27, 2014 at the age of 86. Stan will be dearly missed by his loving wife of ten years, Helen; children and their spouses, Gary and Connie Capistrant, Pat and Dick Weber, Kay and Brian Anderson, Maureen and Bruce Haslerud, and Terri and David Sparks; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother Eugene (Pat) and sister Anita Baldwin; Helen’s children John Wallner and Mary Anne Alhadeff; and many relatives and friends. Waiting there to greet him will be his beloved wife Peg of 56 years, brother Gerald and sister Rosemary Fangel. Stan was a lifelong resident of the St. Paul area, a graduate of Cretin H.S. Class of 1945, and had a 35 year career in sales with Gould National Battery. Family, friends and faith were the center of his life. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 31 at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 423 5th St S, Stillwater. Private interment St. Peter’s Church Cemetery, Mendota. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Cretin-Derham Hall, 550 S Albert St, St. Paul, MN 55116, www.cretin-derhamhall.org or to Mayo Clinic for cancer research www.mayoclinic.org.
